Troy Crady –  Mox Team leader and GM

Troy was a full scholarship Cross country and track athlete in college. If get enough beer in him he might tell you his best 5K time, but call it the 5000 if you ask.  Many years later and quite a few pounds too, he found mountain biking and slowly began racing.  Always looking for challenges he is currently trying to do a bike race in all 50 states. SO far he’s hit AZ, CA, UT, CO, NV, NE, WI, MI, KY, IN, IL, IA and SD. Image may contain: one or more people, people riding bicycles, outdoor and nature He has completed the Leadville Trail 100 MTB as well as the LT 100 run and Western States 100 run.  Other noteable endurance events include finishes at Belgium Waffle ride, Park City Point to Point, Gravel Worlds, Grand Junction 40 and Leadville Leadman.  He’s a horrible swimmer so his tri racing has been limited to super-sprints but he’ll tell you there’s nothing better than getting onto the run course and realizing it’s only going to be 8-9 minutes.  He leads the Sunday Mox ride and also hosts a Wednesday CX practice in the Fall.  Cyclocross is definitely his prefered racing discipline and after several years has found the podium in the Chicago series a few times in both the Masters and the category 3 fields.

PJ Cavoto –  Began his racing career in Triathlon and after his first Criterium bike race, realized he didn’t really enjoy running or swimming that much.  So if you’ve ever talked with him, you’ll know how great he believes Crit racing to be.Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, people standing  He is a well know top quality masters racer on the road and in the dirt.  2018 Chicago Cylo Cross Master series winner.  He leads several group rides out of the city and hosts a CX practice in the fall.  He has been in the bike retail business the same as Troy, too long, but just can’t seem to leave it..

Kurt Schauwecker – Kurt started out riding bikes as cross training for running as high school and collegiate distance runner.  It started with a mountain bike and a few months later a road bike.  Kurt dabbled in road and mountain bike racing over the summers while running in college and took his spring break trips to Moab, UT to ride trails like Slickrock and Porcupine Rim. After running out of cross country eligibility Kurt immediately took up cyclocross and found his favorite discipline.  After moving to Chicago, Kurt traded Ozark mountain bike trails for Chicago road and crit racing while finding himself in the middle of the best cyclocross series in the country, the Chicago Cross Cup.  Kurt quickly moved up to a cat 2 cyclocross rider and can often be found in the single speed races.  When Kurt isn’t riding or fixing bikes he is honing his technical skills as a mechanical engineer.

Andy Peterson – Scholarship swimmer at UIC which led into racing triathlons and then road bikes and cyclocross and gravel.  Newly wed and new Dad duties have me only part-time at Mox and racing but enjoy as much riding as I can fit into my schedule.

Molly Shough
My Name is Molly Shough and I’ve spent the better half of my life riding, racing and working on bicycles.
Getting into double centuries with my Dad started the affair in my teen years, and working as a courier in Chicago and mechanic continued it until this point.

I’ve dabbled in Road and cyclocross taking home podiums and wins as a beginner but My primary love is on the Velodrome where I’ve picked up ‘Rider Of the Year’ at NorthBrook, a win in the New York Velocity messenger race which granted me tickets to Race in the Courier Messenger World Championships in Tokyo, Japan, Allvoi Cup Pursuit Series 1st place overall title, 2015 State Championship Jerseys in the 500 meter and 3k Time Trial and Match Sprints with gold, silver metals in other omnium events.

I’m extremely meticulous when it comes to bicycles and work as if everything I do were my own.
