E-Bike Service Policy
Scope of Service
- We only service pedal-assist e-bikes.
- We do not service scooters, throttle-only bikes, or machines we deem to be motorcycles.
- Many off-brand e-bikes cannot be diagnosed efficiently. In these cases, we may decline service.
- All e-bikes must be left with us for inspection before any work begins.
Pricing
- Menu prices apply to Standard and Complex work as defined by Mox Multisport staff.
- We reserve the right to determine whether a repair is Standard or Complex based on the bike, its components, and the labor required.
- Any service that falls outside of Standard or Complex scope will be billed under Misc. E-Bike Service at $50 minimum labor or $150/hr, plus parts.
- Parts such as brake pads, chains, tires, and tubes are not included in labor rates.
- Published menu prices are for reference only. Final classification as Standard, Complex, or Miscellaneous is determined by Mox Multisport staff upon inspection. Leaving your bike with us for service indicates acceptance of this process.
Battery Policy
- All e-bike batteries must be removed and kept by the owner unless UL-certified and fully discharged.
- We do not service or repair battery internals.
Storage
- Due to space limitations, Mox Multisport may apply a $25/day storage fee starting 48 hours after service completion. Bikes left beyond a reasonable time period may be considered abandoned at the discretion of staff and handled in accordance with applicable laws.
Consent to Proceed
Leaving your e-bike with us for inspection or service indicates your agreement to the above policy and authorizes Mox Multisport to proceed with the necessary work.
